Luke Brunkhorst, DO, is a physician at PCI Urology and is a practicing physician at the Helen G. Nassif Community Cancer Center.
He graduated from medical school at Des Moines University, and completed his residency in Urologic Surgery at Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Brunkhorst is board certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery.
When asked what his provider philosophy is, Dr. Brunkhorst said, “I believe mutual respect, open communication, shared decision making, and patient centered care allow for better health outcomes and patient satisfaction.” He joined Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa in 2024. He chose PCI because “PCI allows me to continue the personalized care that I have worked hard to achieve as a community urologist for over a decade.”
In his free time Dr. Brunkhorst enjoys golf, skiing, attending his kids’ extracurricular activities and traveling with family.
