About
Margaret Ekroth, MD, is a physician at PCI Urology and is a practicing physician at the Helen G. Nassif Community Cancer Center.
She graduated from medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, and completed her residency in Urologic Surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Ekroth is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
When asked what her provider philosophy is, Dr. Ekroth said, “I strive to give patients the knowledge they need to make the best decisions regarding their medical care.” She joined Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa in 2024. She chose PCI because “they consistently focus on high quality, efficient patient care.”
In her free time Dr. Ekroth enjoys running, pickleball, waterskiing, reading.
