Nancy Lorenzini, MD, DABMA, is a medical acupuncturist at the Helen G. Nassif Community Cancer Center. She graduated from Northwestern Medical School. Dr. Lorenzini is board certified by the The American Board of Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Lorenzini chose medical acupuncture because she saw the need for alternative approaches to health care, pain management, stress reduction and overall well-being.
Dr. Lorenzini is motivated each day by having the opportunity to give back. When asked what qualities best describe her care she said, “I’m someone who listens, empathizes and truly cares about the patients health. I hope to alleviate their anxiety, fear or stress.”
Her message to patients is, “I hope to make a difference, whether big or small, for each patient I have the privilege of seeing.”
In her free time Dr. Lorenzini enjoys cooking, gardening, skiing and golfing.
