He graduated from medical school at the University of Minnesota, and completed his residency at the University of Minnesota as well. Dr. Lindsay is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine – Pulmonology.
When asked why he became a physician, he said “Working collaboratively with people to solve problems and achieve goals has always been an interest and strength of mine. Being a physician provides an opportunity to directly assist patients and their families with their health challenges in a personalized approach to achieve health goals.” Dr. Lindsay describes his care as, “Thorough and thoughtful care focused on first identifying the patient’s main areas of concern and how they are looking to improve their health. Then working to develop an individualized plan with each patient to achieve their goals. I focus a lot of attention on communication to make sure I understand exactly what patients are looking to achieve and that we all agree and understand the plans to reach their goals.”
Being a healthcare provider, Dr. Lindsay is motivated each day to “Provide the best care I can for each patient every day. Learning every day to constantly improve quality of care via new treatments and clinical insights.” His message to patients is, “It is a great privilege to work with patients and their families. I enjoy meeting new people and taking the time to work with them to improve their health.”
