About
Andrei Schwartz, MD, is a physician at UnityPoint Clinic Multi-Specialty and is a practicing physician at the Helen G. Nassif Community Cancer Center.
He graduated from medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, and completed his residency at the University of Iowa. Dr. Schwartz is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
When asked why he became a physician, he said “I am particularly interested in the science behind medicine and being able to communicate that to patients/families.” Dr. Schwartz describes his care as, “Compassionate and professional.”
Being a healthcare provider, Dr. Schwartz is motivated each day by “being able to talk to patients and help them in their time of need.” His message to patients is, “I am always happy to educate them about their disease process(es) and help them take ownership of their ailment(s).”
