Join the Nassif Community Cancer Center this Sat., Aug. 9 at Prospect Meadows for the first Fighting Cancer Together youth baseball tournament!
Ball games start at 9 a.m. featuring 9u-17u teams from across Iowa. The winners of each division will walk away with the championship belt pictured below! Admission is $5 per person, and all proceeds from the day benefit cancer patients right here in Eastern Iowa.
In addition to baseball, there will be activities all day long, including “pizza races” and an appearance from Cedar Rapids Kernels’ Mr. Shucks! There will be a metal baseball where attendees can tie a ribbon in memory of a loved one who fought cancer, and Fighting Cancer Together apparel will be available for purchase as another way to support the cause. We hope to see you there!
